Warum werden 1000 ml und 800 ml angegeben?
Die 1000 ml bezeichnen das Gesamtfassungsvermögen des Geräts. Der herausnehmbare Aluminiumbehälter besitzt ein tatsächlich nutzbares Volumen von 800 ml.
Wie lange dauert das Erwärmen des Wachses?
Die Aufheizzeit hängt von Wachsart, Füllmenge und Ausgangstemperatur ab. Je nach Anwendung kann das vollständige Schmelzen ungefähr 20 bis 30 Minuten oder länger dauern. Maßgeblich ist die vom Wachshersteller empfohlene Arbeitskonsistenz.
Sollte der Drehregler während der gesamten Anwendung auf höchster Stufe stehen?
Nein. Eine höhere Einstellung kann zunächst zum Anschmelzen verwendet werden. Sobald das Wachs vollständig geschmolzen ist, sollte die Heizleistung reduziert und an die benötigte Arbeitstemperatur angepasst werden.
Warum geht die Kontrollleuchte während des Betriebs aus?
Die Kontrollleuchte zeigt die aktive Heizphase an. Wenn das Gerät die Wärme vorübergehend hält, kann die Leuchte ausgehen und beim erneuten Aufheizen wieder angehen.
Kann die Geräteoberfläche heiß werden?
Ja. Der Aluminiumbehälter und Teile des Geräts können während des Betriebs heiß werden. Das Gerät sollte deshalb nur auf einer stabilen, hitzebeständigen und trockenen Fläche verwendet werden.
Wie wird der Wachswärmer gereinigt?
Das Gerät ausschalten, vom Stromnetz trennen und vollständig abkühlen lassen. Der Aluminiumbehälter kann anschließend herausgenommen und entsprechend den Hinweisen des verwendeten Wachses gereinigt werden. Das elektrische Grundgerät darf nicht in Wasser eingetaucht werden.
